The Football Change Camp took place again this summer. We’ve had a week full of passion, team spirit and countless touches of the ball. Once again, the football camp was a week full of joy.
This was the sixth time we’ve been able to run the camp. This year, 23 participants attended the camp. Despite coming from different backgrounds, a strong sense of community quickly developed, based on a shared love of football and Jesus, within which everyone supported one another. Every morning on the artificial pitch in Münsingen, we trained intensively, honed our technique and battled for every ball in various game formats. The afternoons were devoted to our faith. Through inspiring Bible teachings, we explored topics such as the life of Jacob and put what we’d learnt into practice during a football outreach in Thun. One evening, when Stephan Maag visited us, we learnt what it means to live out our faith in everyday life and that God works powerfully through the weak.
The Football Change Camp isn’t just about improving your football skills, but also about growing in your faith and making new friends. One participant described the camp as: “For me, it was one of the best weeks of the year. Football, fellowship, worship, spiritual teaching, passionate leaders – what more could you ask for? Simply wow!”

Wir wollen lokale Kirchen unterstützen und ein Segen für Menschen vor Ort sein. Ein Change Camp soll das Leben der Teilnehmenden nachhaltig verändern, ihr Herz neu für Gott entfachen und sie mit Leidenschaft für Mitmenschen, Regionen und Nationen erfüllen – damit sie diese Begeisterung auch in ihren Alltag tragen.”
